We have a SDK java solution to show crystal reports by a crystalreportviewer.
We do the following in the main jsp file.
1. Log on to BO
2. Run query to get objects (InfoObject)
3. Convert the object to a reportobject (IReport)
4. Get all the variables that have to be defined. Create an object to put inparameter to CrystalReportViewer.
5. Get a reportClientDocument by sending ID for the report.
6. Get ReportSource on the viewer to ReportClientDocument().getReportSource
7. Close ReportSource
We have main reports with two or three subreports.
the groupnavigation and scroll in main report are just fine.
But when we choose one of the subreports, or want to drill to field that has Hide (Drill down ok) configuration, we get an error message. And the whole process stopped by the message 'You are not logged on'.
When we make a new project with crystal viewer. Do we have to develope own code for drill and show subreports?
We thought this functionality was a part of the crystal viewer.
Do somebody have a clue?
